A statement

Why I want to study at MSA  To the best of my knowledge, Manchester School of Architecture is a place where development of creativity is very important. Works created by its students which I have seen impressed me by how they are encouraged not only to think creatively but also to apply this ability to their works in the most efficient and practical way. For me this way of working on particular cases is one of the most exciting ways of solving problems - it does not only let achieve the expected result but also find many other alternative ways, which might prove more efficient than the first idea. My favourite architect - Wang Shu    I admire Wang Shu for creating architecture which is always in a close relationship with its surroundings, local history and furthermore, invites people to create their own relationships with it. He creates buildings using little patterns and making many spontaneous, intuitive decisions. This makes his architecture very personal and res...

A spatial excercice

Obraz
This project is an extention excercice I did on my drawing lesson. My teacher asked me to cut a cube with two surfaces and make a compact block of it. Later I made a cardboard model of it and tried assembling it in many different configurations.    Sketches:

Parables

Obraz
This model is a result of my fascination with graphs of functions I saw in my mathematics handbooks. I imagined how they would look in three dimensions and created a model where ten parables in different sizes are placed in their rails and can be moved to create a demanded order or just set freely.

A day in London

Obraz
A few sketches from my sketchbook

A drawing

Obraz
50cm*70cm, pencil on paper, 2018 I really like the vividness of this drawing. The structure hardly maintains equilibrium and strong light is playing on the surfaces. This creates adventurous and a bit abstract space, which pleasantly rivets the attention of and puzzles both the viewer and the person in the drawing.

A painting

Obraz
42cm*30cm, acrylic paints on paper, 2018 In this painting, I wanted to portray a human not by showing their silhouette, but by trying to catch this very specific energy of their existence, the way they interact with their surroundings. I am interested in the way our actions affect the environment in which we live and thus, create the atmosphere of a place.

A Sculpture

Obraz
The  Idea of this paper sculpture was to show energy by contrasting two surfaces - flat and closed horizontal 'loop' with vertical beam transfixing through it, which is opened as if it was heading in some direction.  I think that energy, which we can show only by abstract concepts, has the same intangible quality as presence of a human. Inspirations for the form were sinus rhythm of a heartbeat and a conception of a house. The sculpture refers to a simple model of the law of conversation of energy. An idea of luxurious flats in European city centres, where most of the space is occupied by already existing buildings, very often listed as monuments. The houses would stand on stems in the yards of tenement houses. This is my interpretation of probably the most famous project of Russian avant-garde movement - El Lissitzky's horizontal skyscrapers. This vision has already inspired architects like Steven Holl (Sifang Museum) and Zaha Hadid (C...
