The Idea of this paper sculpture was to show energy by contrasting two surfaces - flat and closed horizontal 'loop' with vertical beam transfixing through it, which is opened as if it was heading in some direction. I think that energy, which we can show only by abstract concepts, has the same intangible quality as presence of a human.

| Inspirations for the form were sinus rhythm of a heartbeat and a conception of a house. The sculpture refers to a simple model of the law of conversation of energy. |

| An idea of luxurious flats in European city centres, where most of the space is occupied by already existing buildings, very often listed as monuments. The houses would stand on stems in the yards of tenement houses. This is my interpretation of probably the most famous project of Russian avant-garde movement - El Lissitzky's horizontal skyscrapers. This vision has already inspired architects like Steven Holl (Sifang Museum) and Zaha Hadid (Capitol Hill Residence) |
